Ramakrishna Ratnakaram, OD, MD

Dr. Ratnakaram is an assistant professor of ophthalmology at the University of Florida. He received his medical degree from Ross University School of Medicine. He completed his medical residency in ophthalmology at UMDNJ-New Jersey Medical School, Transitional, Harbor Hospital Center. He is fellowship trained in vitreoretinal surgery, diabetic retinopathy, age-related macular degeneration, retinopathy of prematurity, retinal laser procedures and other retinal diseases and treatments. Dr. Ratnakaram is board certified in ophthalmology. His research interests include treatment for age-related macular degeneration and diabetic retinopathy.
